Gluten-free living just gets easier and easier. Carmen's has good pizza, clear gluten-free handling procedures to avoid cross-contamination, all rolled into a neighborhood pizza place.
I had a great visit to my hematologist. My iron levels are good, and we compared my celiac antibody tests from June to the ones from the Celiac Center, and my number dropped from 45 to 18! Anything over an 8 means trouble, so the 18 by itself was looking kind of bad. But compared to the 45, I'm kicking ass on the gluten-free diet. We'll know more at my next check-up with the Celiac Center in a few months. What's more, my dexascan revealed that I don't have osteoporosis or osteopenia, which I was kind of worried about. Yay me!
Okay, so I know that listing this as a blog post will probably not drive a lot of people to my recipes, but I'm putting it here anyway:

Plus, I'm very happy to list my mom's pea soup recipe. |
