It happened. I meant to post weekly, but I fell off just when I probably needed to do it most. But I need to tell you about an interesting thing that's happened to me.
I'm a Rotarian. Until I joined, I didn't know any other Rotarians. It seemed a little odd that I would find myself in an organization that I likened to old business guys having lunch, but a funny thing happened.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that Rotary feels to me like Student Council in high school and college felt. We figure out how to help people, and while doing so, we build friendships and community. In many ways, I am not a typical Rotarian, but I will start to stand up and tell more people about it.
Here's more about Rotary. If you live anywhere near the 19063 zipcode, here's info about my club. It's tough to eat gluten-free there, but the coffee is hot and plentiful. :-)
And forgiveness, even self-forgiveness, plus service to others, is a great way to get and be happier. Here is a nice short TedX talk that you probably haven't seen, but you'll be glad you watched.
